Session B: During this session participants will demonstrate the functionality and working of the FDM technology.

• Digital Designs of Objects
• Introduction to free softwares for 3D modelling
• Learn basic tools for 3D Modelling - Google Sketchup
• Learn Fundamentals for supports and orientation of 3D Model into FDM printing (also comparison with other technologies)
• Produce a 3D Model and Print
• Study and analyse the printed part
• Demonstrate different printed material parts
• Learn the post processing and finishing techniques of 3D printed parts

After the course you will have a solid understanding of 3D printing and its revolutionary potential. In addition, you will obtain a preview of the other courses in the 3D Printing Specialization and gain an appreciation for how these courses will help you develop the knowledge and skills to turn your ideas into objects.
